I thought you were never into such stylized, over-the-top, or embellished anything shoes? Well, I am now! I know that you can't blame me seeing as these Viktor & Rolf babies are gorgeous. Day, night, whichever - wherever and whatever! I'd throw any 'style' rules out of the window when I'm rockin' these gems on my size 6 feet! Okay, you really need to breathe... I really need to breathe... Woozaaaaah! I should sign up for llamas (sp?) classes or something, need to learn to control my breathing when it comes to these high fashion contractions, I simply can't contain myself. Time to buy some maxi pads while I'm at it. Ha ;-P

P.S. I know I told you that I've never been a fan of pink, however, I take it back, just for these shoes. But you know I'll be strutting my stuff with solid/block coloured couture.

I am so behind the times. I wasn't aware that Christian Louboutin did mens shoes! But alas, now that I do, I love these Louboutin 'Freddy Flats'! I want a pair for myself. I love the studded loafers, they are ultra cool! I wonder if they cater for my small feet? ;-P

Prada Perfect. Autumn/Winter Perfect. Those with a winter palette; this is PERFECT for you! I'm in love ;) Chic and edgy. I just love how they can completely dress up a look. That God these are not tacky looking studded heels, like A LOT of studded heels I've been seeing lately in store (namely at malls)!

Is it bad that I found 5 pairs of brogues/brogue inspired shoes in my office? Maybe because I have one for every occasion. All are chic nevertheless. Broguing and proud!
Oh, and I am loving that I can wear my CUE (because they have the perfect size 6 {0 or 00 for you North Americans} for me) slimline dress pants in 98% cotton 2% elastane again without feeling obese! *wink* Now to make sure that I do not gain any "winter fat"! Having said that, I'm off to lunch ;)

Philosophy for Autumn

I've always referred to shoes as 'affordable diamonds for women' for the most part, it's true. How many women are like 'Carrie Bradshaw' from SATC and obsess over shoes? Who have heart palpitations at the sight of that perfect (for the moment) Manolo Blahnik, Louboutin, or Viktor & Rolf, etcetera! So I'm a fan of 'brogues', I absolutely adore them, I think they are très chic, so you could imagine my excitement when there are heeled versions, right? I bought these Philosophy by Alberta Ferretti shoes 4 years back in New York and they're timeless! I love being able to pull them out EVERY single autumn/winter time and pair them with colored or black opaques with whatever dress or skirt I'm wearing. LOVE! Glad that the summer left in a hurry.
