Jelly Bean Bikes

+ JELLY BEAN BIKES

Bikes inspired by popular sweets, your options are unlimited – you'll be like a kid in a candy store.

With bikes becoming an increasingly popular mode of transport, it’s natural that you’d want it to be an extension of your personality.

Jelly Bean Bikes have taken this idea and introduced a bike range where the customer selects the colour of the frame, rims, chain, seat, handgrips, pedals and even the tyres.

You can celebrate Italian culture by riding through Lygon St. in Melbourne with a green frame, red tyres and a white bike chain, cruise through Kings Cross in Sydney in a gangster-inspired black frame with white tyres, or take on Saigon in sky blue and orange.

The single-geared bikes can be ordered online and are available in two sizes.

With the ability to customise your own set of wheels, a Jelly Bean Bike will give you that extra sense of style on your way to work or a Sunday afternoon drink, but apart f
rom anything else, it’s a little bit of fun.

Sugar Rush

Dear Body,
I'm sorry, and you're welcome. I don't really know which one to be. I know that I've probably added 2 whole dress sizes to what you usually are, but I couldn't resist the temptation of a Lindt Velour Chocolate Cheesecake and ice chocolate. How could I? I was sick, and I had 2 of my girl friends with me spurring the sugar craving. I'm sorry for that, but you're also welcome that I put some good quality chocolate into your system! You're also welcome for that I didn't eat the whole cheesecake on my own, it was shared. After all, sharing is caring, right? I thought I would pass around the calories so that I wouldn't feel so bad for what I did to you. It may be evil, but I know you're thanking me for it. Don't be passive aggressive toward me, okay? If you have a problem with it, be upfront and give me a sign. Wait... I think you did give me a sign. A huge sign. Yes, I know, the weight gain. The ever expanding waistline. Are you even 23 inches anymore? If you aren't, don't worry, I promise, I vow... that we will get us both back there. I owe it to us both. Anyway, again... I'm sorry, and you are most definitely welcome. Want to go for some Lindt? ;-P
Love,
SVdB

Pink Berry

I'm totally in the mood for a Pink Berry Fruit Parfait! How delish and healthy. Start your day this way, and I'm sure the day ahead will fly by. Oh how I miss my home away from home, New York City!

Oh by the way, you can check out the Pink Berry Blog and be a groupie too.

April Reed Cakes

I love weddings. It is probably one of the single most important times in a woman's life. It's the one time where all the little details count and having OCD is justified. The cake. Ah, the cake. It has to be as delicious as it looks I would say. I don't want people remembering that the cake tasted horrible, more over, remember that it was a monstrosity! BUT, I find that many of the cakes that I see out there, well, they're just that, a monstrosity. Unattractive. Over-the-top. Ugly in simpleton terms. So I came across these cakes by April Reed, and you know what? I like them! I think they are pretty, clean lined and in their own rights, creative. She has some chic looking cakes with polished elegance. So for those who aren't going for that over-the-top traditional 1980s or 1990s style wedding cake, she's got some gorgeous designs for you! Looking at these cakes would make any girl want to get married ;)

Désir Macarons Ladurée

Le temps de fuir à Paris, au Japon ou à Monaco pour des macarons Ladurée. Substituer Lindt pour le mois prochain d'ici là? Besoin d'assouvir ce désir!
(Time to fly to Paris, Japan or Monaco for some Ladurée macaroons. Lindt substitute for the next month until then? Need to satiate this craving!)
Don't you just love how colorful they are too? They are so pretty that I may not want to eat them, just keep taking photos of them. I love when things are just as delicious as they look ;)
