Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky

Has anyone seen the movie 'Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky'? What did you think of this movie premiered in 2009 at the Cannes Film Festival? I think the period interior deco was spectacular, as you would expect from Chanel, but I felt that the fire and passion, the intensity and the drama was lacking. Perhaps it was in the direction of the screenplay itself, or maybe the actors failed to deliver. I think that the half French half Greek actress Anna Mouglalis is beautiful though. With her long graceful neck and slim silhouette. Karl Lagerfeld loves her too. I can't let go of the fact that I love her hair. She can go from elegant to a little edgy just by the shake or scruff of her hair. I think I could possibly be jealous...

Stylish Scooter Helmets

For the past 2 weeks I've been looking for a helmet for myself. I just want a scooter half helmet as opposed to the hardcore motorcycle helmets that look quite suffocating. It's so hard to choose one, when you come across so many different and cool designs, and on top of that you can get high-end luxury designer AND custom designed ones?

The Chanel helmets that are featured are a little over-the-top, but would you expect any less for a runway piece? The Moschino helmets on the other hand, yes well, you look like you would fit my head quite well... plus, you're not too out there for me. In as much as I adore you Chanel and Moschino, I might have to go for Vespa. He's (yes, I've decided that my helmet will be a boy -- name still to be decided) just so shiny, sleek and stylish! The soft shell look really does 'soften' the look of a helmet, and I love the tinted shades. I think I would look extremely stylish riding through the streets of Asia with you protecting my head from any bumps along the way. Maybe I'll even just walk around the streets wearing you even when I'm not riding... ;)

Stephanie Archer Does Paris

Aw, Steph! I love that you searched for the Chanel boutique in Paris for one whole hour so that you could take a photo in front of it for me and peruse the boutique! I wish I could have been there with you to share in the joy of being in such luxury fashion heaven! ;)

She did also mention that the theme inside the boutique at the time was nautical ;)

Coco with a touch of Narsisco

Coco, here is some positive reinforcement on how fabulous you really are. See Chanel, I still love you despite your fashion misgivings in 1994. And Narcisco, I love your skirt!

Chanel WTF?

So I love Chanel and all, we even share the same initials... but honestly, this just looks ridiculous. Haha, it's like they dressed and styled this model in the dark. Maybe they were going for quirky, well, it didn't work for me. It's just so over the top. Hence, why I'm not a fan of maximalism. It's like 3 looks put together. I'm trying to wipe off my look of disgust, but it's taking some effort. You know how they usually say that "it'd look perfect on a model" well here is proof that that statement is NOT always correct.

Chanel

A Chanel helmet + Chanel cruiser + Chanel thigh-high boots + Chanel patent python skin booties = A Chanel addiction like no other, an expensively stylish one. I'll take all of these to go, thanks. Damn you, Coco!
