BangKokSmiths

BANGKOKSMITHS was created in the hope of bringing Thai jewelry design industry onto the world stage. Four leading fashion jewelers came together to offer an array of quirky decorative pieces which are JOGEMA, MATINA AMANITA, MISSILE AND TRIMODE ACCESSORIES. Though the pieces from the four brands are completely different, they all posses the same playful concept. Like Missile is Rock n' Roll inspired costume jewelries, while Matina Amanita is the complete opposite, with gems, magic inspired and charmingly feminine. Jogema goes with cool and crisp graphical lines of geometry, while Trimode keeps things fun and colourful with the use of unconventional jewelry materials, such as rubber and resin.
Check out their accessories. Catfish, I think that you'll like "Matina Amanita." ;)

Garter Toss

I don't know how much importance some brides-to-be place on their garter, but all I know is that I haven't really seen any beautiful ones tossed over the shoulder. Personally, if my groom is going to put his head up my gown and throw this at a bunch of guys, whilst having it filmed and taken photos of... I want it to {a} smell good and {b} be just as beautiful as the rest of my gown and wedding. So here are some elegant, luxurious and beautiful garters I've found, all designed by Florrie Mitton (Couture). You can also find her garters at etsy and journelle.
Je t'aime Lace Garter: Stylish garter full of Parisienne chic! Made from warm ivory lace with an ivory silk ribbon band, pearl trim, blush silk ribbon & a twinkling burnished sequin.
Carrie Draped Pearl Garter: The Carrie garter is aptly named after Miss Carrie Bradshaw & is a statement of pure luxury. An irresistable combination of silk & pearls.... Gorgeous blush silk satin is draped with a vintage pearl necklace & trimmed with delicate silk bows. This is a limited edition piece
Goddess Beaded Garter: The Goddess garter combines embellishment & lace. This a beautiful hand beaded piece....silver sequins, beads & metallic embroidered thread form this timeless design. Vintage with a modern twist. Perfect for the ultra stylish bride.
Ethereal Silk Tulle Garter: Beautiful ivory silk tulle garter with stretch lace, a big silk bow & a lucky horseshoe charm with sparkly crystals. Simply stunning...
Eden Lace Garter: Beautiful garter made from pale ivory lace with a gorgeous leaf design. A single rhinestone twinkles in the centre of a duck egg blue silk ribbon bow.
Romance: Romance is a beautiful ruffled lace garter in ivory.

The Rocks AROMA FESTIVAL

So, after morning blessings, we went to The Rocks, Sydney for the Aroma Festival. I was pretty excited to go seeing as it would be my first time going. Hmm, I was kind of disappointed. It was a little boring for my liking. I had a taste of some good Chai Tea Latte (which was a bit pricey for the take home pack), and OMG this amazing marshmallow that didn't taste like marshmallow and the fudge, mmm. Other than that, it was pretty much a snooze fest. I spent $50 on lunch from Pony BBQ. For what it was, it wasn't worth the price for 3 lunches. I had the lamb wrap. It looked good, but was comme ci, comme ça. I didn't take many photos, too many people around and in the way, plus everything looked the same. I went super casual seeing as I was dressed to the nines in the morning for the morning blessings. Wearing: Nudie Jeans, H&M white long sleeve basic tee, Ralph Lauren leather elbow patched cardigan (my brother's), Marc's fedora, Who is Eve coat, Ray Ban aviators and $5 gold sequined flats from Old Navy.

Late Lazy Thursday Lunch + Shopping

Yeah you know, people just stop us dead in the streets to take our photos ;) Adore Yasmine (Melbourne/Italy) and Miss Deena Kako (soon to be Italy ;)
I couldn't help but to take a photo of this family. I thought they were very cute and very well coordinated when it comes to colour. I absolutely adore the matching hooded trench coats of the two little girls. So young and already stylish! They mustn't be from Sydney ;-P

Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky

Has anyone seen the movie 'Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky'? What did you think of this movie premiered in 2009 at the Cannes Film Festival? I think the period interior deco was spectacular, as you would expect from Chanel, but I felt that the fire and passion, the intensity and the drama was lacking. Perhaps it was in the direction of the screenplay itself, or maybe the actors failed to deliver. I think that the half French half Greek actress Anna Mouglalis is beautiful though. With her long graceful neck and slim silhouette. Karl Lagerfeld loves her too. I can't let go of the fact that I love her hair. She can go from elegant to a little edgy just by the shake or scruff of her hair. I think I could possibly be jealous...

Photoshoot with Gin+Tonic

Bright Lights, Big City

Here are some photos from my photoshoot yesterday with my friend Gin+Tonic. He was trying to go for a punk/goth/evanescence type theme. Some of the photos have a vampire at night feel to thembut I've only posted the more cinematic ones. Bright lights, big city (for a vampire). So call me Buffy (the original Buffy, Kristy Swanson). How funky if your chicken? I'll post some of the other shots in my next post.
